30 August 2024,Kohima:Don Bosco College Kohima conducted the investiture ceremony on 30th of August(Friday) 2024 within the college premises to honour and recognise the roles of the newly elected members of the students Forum.The college community along with the students gathered to witness the induction of the new students Forum.

The ceremony commenced with a solemn invocation by Fr.Christudoss ,campus minister of DBCK followed by a welcome speech delivered by Fr.Dr.Tious Varghese, Principal of DBCK wherein he relayed an inspiring message emphasizing the essence of leadership and the opportunities that comes with it.Thereafter time was given to the special invitee Fr.Dr Xavier Mattam Rector to present a speech and carry out the ceremony of badge pinning.Each office bearers were adorned with the badges signifying their roles and responsibilities.Followibg this ,led by Dr.Tovika Swu, the newly elected SF members took the oath of office pledging to uphold the values of integrity,fairness and responsibility in carrying out their duties.The list of newly elected office bearers are as followed:

Ms Shamong , outgoing Assistant General Secretary relayed a brief message expressing gratitude to the fellow office bearers and college community passing on the mantle of leadership to the new officials with words of encouragement.After which Lemtsümong Tikhir,the present General secretary (2024-2025) took on the platform delivering word of assurance to be sincere, responsible and diligent.

The investiture ceremony served as a platform to recognise the dedication and responsibilities of the recipients setting a stage for the future endeavors.The program ended on a high not and  underscored the importance of leadership,service and commitment in the roles undertaken by the individuals.
