25 October 2024,Kohima:The DBCK Euphoria(2024-25) D-2 took place on 25th of October (Friday).The closing ceremony cum Western day themed "Western Grandeur:Old Hollywood"  was held within the college premises with the faculties,students and special guest as attendees.The event organised by the DBCK SF showcased the vibrant talents and creativity of the students.

The first session of the program featured events and games wherein the four euphoria groups competed against each other in  activities such as solo singing ,duet singing,instrumental, performative poetry,cosplay ,dance competition and battle of the bands.This competitions ignited feelings of excitement among the attendees evident from the joyous and lively cheers.The dance competition and cosplays were judged by Mr.Puchong Thai(artist, choreographer,dancer),Tong Tong kinghen and The cosplay monster respecfully.After a short break the second session of the event commenced with the arrival of the special guest Shri.Kuolie Vizo(Regional Marketing Manager, Gobal Management college of Melbourne, Australia )The flag lowering ceremony by the guest of honour was followed by the college anthem led by the DBCK Choir.Fr.Xavier Mattam(Rector,DBCK) led the program with a solemn invocation .A token of appreciation was presented to the guest of honour by Ketoukhrielie Yhome (Asst.Finance Sect.DBCKSF).

Thereafter,the special invitee took the platform to share his valuable insights with the attendees.Shri .Kuolie Vizo underlined the influence of western culture on Indian culture in several areas such as language, lifestyle, education,art, literature,music and even rise of democracy and human rights in India.In his speech ,he encouraged the students to stay focused in the path of education and have a concised goal and abstrain from leisure activities.He also shared valuable insights on several doors and opportunities with particular emphasis on business and entrepreneurship.He concluded his speech by inspiring the attendees to work hard and stay disciplined.

This was followed by a special number performed by Kungsy Chawang & Ketoukhrienuo Lucy who treated the audience with their soothing vocals. Raychel(Asst.Genral Secretary, DBCKSF) delivered the vote of thanks on behalf of DBCK SF expressing gratitude to all attendees,sponsors and volunteers who contributed in the success of the event and also expressed special gratitude to the guest of honour for gracing the event with his presence.The second session concluded with a benediction led by Miss Kinitoli and presentation of awards and prizes to the winners of the various competitions.

The evening affair featured thrilling and exhilarating performances by the students as well as faculties.The DJ session filled the atmosphere with tremendous energy and intense liveliness and with this the first phase of DBCK EUPHORIA (2024-25) concluded on a successful note .
