"Bosco Creativity Club’s activity on An Invited Talk on “Creativity as a Lifestyle”

Bosco Creativity Club of Don Bosco College Kohima organized an event on 15th March at 10:00 AM from T1 of the college. The event was an invited talk on the theme “Creativity as a Lifestyle”.
The program was chaired by Soyingbeni E Patton of Psychology Department of 4th Semester. The event was invoked by Hiketo H Chishi of Political Science of 4th Semester. To welcome and felicitate the special invitee, the time was given to Dr Yanthungbeni T Kithan who is the coordinator of the Club. She welcomed the special invitee by giving an introduction to the students of the club on what creativity is all about and also the purpose and aim of the club. She enlightened the students about the special invitee Dr Noyingbeni T Erui , the Creative Director and Founder of Erui Design. She is not only an entrepreneur but also an assistant professor in the Department of English at St Joseph College (Autonomous), Jakhama. Dr Yanthungbeni on behalf of the club and the college felicitated her with a small token of appreciation
Following the welcome address was a special performance by Neilhoupeo Kevie of Psychology 4th Semester. Thereafter the chairperson took the stageand enlightened the members on ‘Creativity as a Lifestyle’. She encouraged the students to be brave enough to pursue their hobby as a business and the students were told how pursuing their hobby would help them earn as an entrepreneur and that the government job is not the only job to live a life of luxury. She made the students participate in activities and each of the activities highlighted the student's imagination and creative art.With the activities, she encouraged the students to spread their wings of imagination and to avoid perfectionism in everything they do. To end her talk, she encouraged the students to work with creativity and learn from their little errors.
Vote of thanks was delivered by Chovoni D Robvüna of Political Science of 4th Semester The program concluded with the singing of the college anthem and a photo session with all the club members along with the Chief Guest.
Also, along with the invited talk, the election of club members was conducted after the program whereby the following students were elected to be executive members of the club.
