EUPHORIA PHASE II (2025) DAY-1 INAUGURAL CEREMONY CUM SPORTS MEET

1 April 2025, Kohima:Organized by the DBCK School Forum and co-sponsored by Little Stars Bakery ,Euphoria phase II (2025) commenced with an inaugural ceremony cum sports meet on 1st April (Tuesday) at IG Stadium Kohima.Master of ceremony Crystal (Assistant. Social and cultural Secretary ) gracefully guided the program ,welcoming the faculty,students and Chief guest Colonel Lovlesh Panghal (Commanding officer, 1st Nagaland Battalion NCC Kohima,, Nagaland).
Fr .Xavier Mattam (Rector ,DBCK) invoked a solemn prayer for the success of the event which was followed by the welcoming ceremony of the chief guest and march past, a spectacle of discipline and unity displayed by the 2nd semester students and NCC Cadets of DBCK.In the welcome address Fr.Christudoss (Campus Minister,DBCK) extended gratitude to the special invitee for his presence and acknowledged the efforts and contributions of the organizers and faculties. The program featured a special Item performed by Ms. Diethosino Bio (2nd semester, Department of Political Science).Thereafter, the chief guest delivered a motivational speech emphasizing on the importance of sports by highlighting its benefits and encouraging the active participation of youths in sports and physical activities.He also emphasized the significance of perseverance and the pursuit of excellence in sports and life. The oath taking ceremony led by Vikuolelie Khezhie (Games and Sports Secretary) took place after the speech . Following this, the captains and vice captains of the respective euphoria teams performed the torch lighting ceremony ,a symbolic gesture of igniting passion and dedication.The opening of Sports day was declared with a symbolic kick-off by the chief guest.
The sports meet showcased the athletic talents and competitive spirts of the students.The Day 1 of Euphoria phase II (2025) included-
