Euphoria 2025

The 11th edition of DBCK Euphoria Phase 1 (2025-26) commenced with a vibrant Cultural Day themed “Embracing Roots & Rhythm – A Cultural Kaleidoscope”, organized by the DBCK Students’ Forum within the college campus. The event, held on October 9 ,Saturday , brought together students, faculty, and special guest to celebrate our rich cultural heritage. The formal session was graced by Mr. R. Lungleng (Founder and Host of The Lungleng Show) who officially launched the event by hoisting the flag.

Mr. R. Lungleng delivered an inspiring speech tracing the audience back to their ancestors and their way of life, highlighting the progress made over time. He emphasized that culture is not merely about attire or outward displays, but the values and behaviors that define us, using the honesty of our ancestors as an example. He also discussed the impact of Christianity, noting how it has, in some ways, led to a decline in the ethical values that were once so central to the community. He encouraged students to embrace the ethical values upheld by the forefathers.

The program chaired by Soyingbeni E. Patton (Social & Cultural Secretary, DBCK SF) followed a structured agenda with a solemn invocation by Rev. Fr. Innocent Panmei ( SDB, Principal DBHSS), welcome address extended by Rev. Fr. Dr. Tious Varghese (Principal, DBCK) , a captivating performance by DBCK Music club , vote of thanks proposed by Dziesezo Pusa ( Asst. General Secretary, DBCK SF) and benediction by Ms. Senjano N Murry (Asst. Professor , Dept. Of History).

The informal session saw spirited competition among the four Euphoria groups. The energy and enthusiasm of the participants created a festive atmosphere, making the day a memorable celebration of culture and camaraderie.
