About Department
The Department of psychology was established in the year 2020 and the first batch of under-graduate students was admitted in the year 2021. The programme offers B.A psychology honours and B.A with psychology. The Department has a total strength of 2 teaching faculty. The undergraduate coursework in psychology touches upon the diverse areas including educational psychology, developmental psychology, psychological research, counseling psychology, social psychology, organizational behavior, mental health and psychopathology, human resource management. The department has a psychology laboratory which is well equipped with materials and psychological tests and instruments for conducting experiments in psychology and developing the skills required for administering psychological tests of different kinds. Over the six semester course, the department also organizes departmental activities, seminars and field visits for the benefit of students.
