It is with immense joy and a profound sense of responsibility that I, Fr. Dr. Tious Varghese SDB, assume the role of Principal at Don Bosco College, Kohima, effective June 11th, 2024. This institution, affectionately known as DBCK, has a rich history and a promising future. From its humble beginnings with 135 students, it has blossomed into a vibrant educational community of over 1,200 students. This incredible growth stands as a testament to the unwavering dedication and commitment of our highly talented staff and well-grounded teaching faculty.
As we begin on this new chapter together, I want to express my deepest gratitude to my predecessor, Fr. Dr. Suresh SDB. His exemplary leadership and tireless efforts over the past nine years have been pivotal in shaping DBCK into the distinguished institution it is today. His commitment to academic excellence and holistic development has laid a solid foundation upon which we will continue to build. Fr. Dr. Suresh's vision and dedication have left an indelible mark on our college, and we owe him a debt of gratitude for his selfless service.
At DBCK, our mission is clear: to become a premier destination for higher education, known for its academic rigor, supportive community, and commitment to the holistic development of each student. We strive to create a learning environment that is not only intellectually stimulating but also nurturing and inclusive.
